World Wildlife Day is celebrated every 3rd of March to raise awareness about protecting and restoring our ecosystems. This year’s theme, “Partnerships for Wildlife Conservation”, aims to highlight all
global as well as local conservation efforts.

As Global Citizens, selected students from Y4B & Y3C spearheaded the WWD Celebration during the student assembly. They shared important activities and information about World Wildlife Day and encouraged everyone to support and do their part in conserving our ecosystems.

To express strong support for this important global event, SMSIS students wore slippers with flora or fauna prints. Moreover, a week-long observation was organised into different activities such as poster-making, video viewing, and class discussions during their Homeroom periods.
