Student Services

SMSIS has a clinic located at the front office with the aim to maintain the health and safety of every student and staff. It is equipped with resources needed to provide basic first aid to anyone who is injured. SMSIS has one school nurse and most of our teachers and staff are trained first aiders.

Parents are advised to fill out the Medical details section of the enrolment form with the particulars of the child’s medical condition which may need special attention and provide a copy of medical records and updated vaccination records of their child to help the school gain better understanding of any medical condition that the student has.

SMSIS’ library provides students, teachers and parents access to a variety of books and other resources. It has an integrated book management system designed to manage all library item details and keeps track on all the books and instructional materials that are issued to students and teachers through its simple and user-friendly interface. The system can also generate report such as library items, library inventory and library fine collection for late return of book/s.

With the SMSIS e-library, borrowing of books and other resources are now done electronically for fast and efficient processing and monitoring of learning resources.

SMSIS has a shared tuckshop with SMSS Secondary, located near the book shop which sells healthy food to students according to the school Canteen guidelines set by Brunei’s Ministry of Health. Students may purchase food from the tuckshop at an affordable price during break time. Out school tuckshop is catered by a Nyonya Restaurant which offer a variety of food such as fresh fruits, sandwiches, burgers, porridge, noodles, rice.

Food handler practices proper safe food handling procedures to ensure food is prepared and served in a safe manner for all students.

School and PE Uniforms compulsory for every student at SMSIS. School and PE uniforms are available for purchase at Bajoo Boutique at Unit No. C4, Ground Floor, Warisan Mata- Mata Complex, Jalan Gadong, BSB, Brunei Darussalam. Clean black shoes, white socks and school tie are part of SMSIS school uniform.
