Students of Seri Mulia Sarjana International School (SMSIS) enthusiastically participated in the Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Mother’s Day celebration on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, organized by the school’s Student Council.
The event commenced with an educational segment aimed at enlightening students about the significance of Hari Raya, which marks the conclusion of Ramadan and symbolizes refinement and rebirth. Captivating cultural songs and dance performances were arranged for different key stage groups, including preschool, lower primary, and upper primary students, all under the attentive guidance of their teachers. The performances showcased the diverse traditions and joyous spirit of Hari Raya.
Additionally, as a gesture of love and appreciation, students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their mothers on the occasion of Mother’s Day. They lovingly crafted flower bouquets and heartfelt cards, paying tribute to the immeasurable contributions and sacrifices made by their mothers.
On behalf of SMSIS, we extend warm wishes of Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Maaf Zahir Batin to all Muslim teachers, staff, and students. We also take this opportunity to celebrate all the beautiful mothers out there and wish them a Happy Mother’s Day! Your love and support are the foundation of our lives, and we are forever grateful.
