SMSIS seeks to provide quality facilities and educational resources required to support students as well as the co-curricular programmes as well as other school activities. This is highlighted in our school’s guiding statement of providing quality international education that integrates ICT to support not only learning about technology but also to support active/student-centred learning with technology.

Smart Classroom

Seri Mulia Sarjana International School continuously equip our teachers and students with computer-based technologies that would make them competitive and competent amidst the growing global demands for technological literacy. All classrooms are fitted with Interactive Whiteboards (IWBs) to provide new and exciting ways for our teachers to teach and students to learn. This also allows technology integration of various technologies available in school. The school also provides access to various educational resources such as:

i-vote – Part of formative assessment, our teachers conduct assessment in the form of short quizzes or surveys before, during or after each lesson. This gives them immediate/real-time feedback to assess student’s learning progress.
i-view (visualizer) – With the integration of IWB, teachers use this device to view specimen by projecting it directly to the whiteboard.
interactive Pad – This device is used by teachers to conduct group activities and/or discussions.
i-capture –This a good collaboration tool designed to record students work in digital format.

Library

SMSIS’ library provides students, teachers and parents access to a variety of books and other resources. The library utilizes an integrated book management system designed to manage all library item details and keeps track on all the books and instructional materials that are issued to students and teachers through its simple and user-friendly interface. The system can also generate reports such as library items, library inventory and library fine collection for late return of book/s. With the SMSIS e-library, borrowing of books and other resources are now done electronically for fast and efficient processing and monitoring of learning resources. Four desktop computers for teachers and students are also readily available for online research purposes.

ICT Laboratory

The SMSIS ICT laboratory is equipped with up-to-date desktop computer units, which allows a one-to-one student-to-pc ratio for ICT classes. Moreover, there is a dedicated continuous printer for printing student’s output.
