SMSIS officially launched its Digital Learning Unit, where technology-mediated tools, applications, and teaching practices are consolidated and strengthened. Although most of the initiatives have kick-started since 2018, new and more advanced initiatives are slowly introduced as the year progresses.
Through the launch of the Digital Learning Programme, the school upholds its mission of leading the advancement of enhanced learning where students are provided with 21st-century teaching and learning skills using technology as a tool, method, or strategy as well as a platform that gives students an opportunity to manage their own learning in terms of time, place, path or pace.

Guests visited the different exhibits which displayed Digital Learning Programme such as Beebot, Microbit, Design & Technology, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Device-OnDemand (DOD)/BYOD, DLU Studio and Dugga Digital Assessment.
